It has been a while since youtube advertisement did not follow the path “skip this ad” in my watch list.
And today I have discovered beautiful and interesting piece of art, designed for inside.chanel website.
http://inside.chanel.com/en/coco is an excellent example for story tellers and visual designers. It’s simple, very well designed and tells a great story. Of course, story of Coco Chanel is already exciting, but it’s worth 15 min of your time to see HOW the creative team told it (still searching for the creative agency, would appreciate a hint)
All I have learnt partly Winning the Story Wars: Why Those Who Tell (and Live) the Best Stories Will Rule the Future and partly from A Creator’s Guide to Transmedia Storytelling: How to Captivate and Engage Audiences across Multiple Platforms is beautifully showed in the inside.chanel webpage. Both books I would definitely recommend to any marketer to read. Especially “Winning the Story Wars” by Jonah Sachs, gives excellent examples and even guidelines of how to tell your brand story!
On the webpage chanel house publishes archives of photos and videos, including a recording of Marilyn Monroe saying what she wears to bed. Here I stop, enjoy 🙂
